Changes Coming to Liquid Rules at U.S. Airports

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has announced that liquid restrictions at airport security checkpoints may soon be revised. Currently, passengers are only allowed to carry liquids up to 100 milliliters in their hand luggage. However, Noem indicated that this limit could be updated in the near future.
This follows a recent change allowing travelers to pass through security without removing their shoes. The liquid restrictions have been in place since a 2006 liquid bomb plot threat.
It is still unclear when the new regulations will take effect.
